The University of York Gilbert & Sullivan Society
Thursday 28 February to Saturday 2 March 2019
Join us for a swashbuckling adventure set in the heart of Cornwall; complete with dancing Pirate Kings, Major-Generals who sing far too fast, and a strange paradox that is (almost) too ridiculous to believe, all set to the wonderful music of Gilbert and Sullivan.
This timeless show will leave you laughing in your seats, produced and performed by a group of talented students from the University of York as they re-enact the phenomenon that swept Victorian society over a century ago.

York St. John Musical Production Society
Thursday 14 March to Saturday 16 March 2019
Troy Bolton, the star athlete at a small-town high school, falls for nerdy beauty Gabriella Montez at a holiday karaoke party.
When they return to campus, Troy and Gabriella audition for the upcoming school musical. Meanwhile, the jealous Sharpay Evans conspires to stop them from threatening East High’s social order.
The two must struggle to make it to auditions while also meeting their existing obligations to the basketball team and the academic decathlon.
Can Troy and Gabriella lead their friends to a more open-minded way of thinking and acceptance of one another? Or will their friends win?

Ordinary guys with ordinary lives – dance the Full Monty!!
The Bev Jones Music Company
Wednesday 27 March to Saturday 30 March 2019
They may not be young, they may not be pretty, they may not be very good, but they're there, and for one night only, with nothing to lose, they're daring to go The Full Monty!
Six unemployed steel workers form a male striptease act. The women cheer them on to go for "The Full Monty" - total nudity.
Life is tough, money is tight, and the wives and girlfriends are nagging to see more money! What can an ordinary bloke do? Follow in the steps of The Chippendales? And guess what? The women will pay to see it? Only one problem – these guys haven't seen a gym EVER. Some don’t even take their clothes off at home – never mind in public!
Join this fun, fun show, with its powerful songs, and fantastic dance moves and leave the theatre feeling the urge to “rip off your own and join in“!!
