Bake & Make Sale

Bake & Make Sale

posted 28 Oct 2020

UPDATE: Unfortunatley, due to the recent government annoucement, we have had to postpone our Bake & Make Sales originally planned for the 7th November. The organisers are keeping their fingers crossed that it might take place in December.

Clear your diaries! There is another one of the Joseph Rowntree Theatre's 'Bake and Make' Sales, right around the corner.

On November 7th, we are having a grand sale of everything and anything that has been home made or home grown. There's going to be lots of cake and savouries, including jams and preserves, plants, fruit and vegetables, knitting and lots of other crafts. And of course, a grand tombola with lots of prizes.

The event will be COVID-safe, so please be sure to bring your masks.

Cash and card payments will both be available.

There will be volunteers at the theatre to collect items for sale on Monday 2 November from 11.30 am till 4 pm and on Friday 6 November from 11.30 am till 4 pm - perishables will be put in the fridge. Items can also be brought on the day from 9.30 am.  If you can’t make these dates please contact gary.bateson@jrtheatre.co.uk to make other arrangements.

All money raised from the sale goes towards the theatre's Raise the Roof appeal, to support the community arts in these uncertain times.

So make sure to pop the date in your diaries, and get yourself down to the Joseph Rowntree Theatre between 10am and 1pm on November 7th for the next great 'Bake and Make' Sale.
