Christmas Raffle and Fundraising Update

We have now launched a Grand Christmas Raffle, with cash prizes, a Christmas hamper, and many other fabulous items to be won. Tickets cost just £1 each.

The grand draw will take place here at the theatre on Saturday 4 December 2021, during the evening performance of our eagerly anticipated pantomime, Dick Whittington.

Tickets can be bought online via the Just Giving page.

You can also buy them in person at the auditorium before every performance or from the box office between 10am and 2pm Monday to Saturday. 

We can send out books to buy and sell to family and friends. To request these, please email: jenny.whitehouse@jrtheatre.co.uk. Please include your name, address and number of books required. Or call 01904 501935 with this information. Alternatively, you can collect books from the theatre between 10am and 2pm Monday to Saturday, or at any of our performances.

And we’re almost halfway to raising the roof!

We are so grateful for all the fundraising events and many generous donations to our Raise the Roof appeal. 

Our three fantastic fundraising shows raised over £2,000 and proved beyond doubt that Yorkshire’s Got Talent.

Many more people are donating when they buy tickets for shows. Our Buy a Tile campaign continues to attract donors, all eager to help us build a new roof, tile by tile. 

In total we have so far raised almost £40,000 - our target is £95,000.
