This tuneful, heartwarming story, is based on the real life story of the Von Trapp family of singers, one of the world’s best known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II. Maria, is a tomboyish postulant at an Austrian Abbey who becomes governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children bringing a new love of life and music into the home. With amazing songs like ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘Climb Every Mountain’, ‘Do Re Mi’, ‘Sixteen Going on Seventeen’, ‘Edelweiss’ and the unforgettable ‘Sound of Music’, this is one must see musical.
