We break our year into three seasons with tickets for each season going on sale together.

For the first seven days we provide priority booking for the Friends of the Joseph Rowntree Theatre.

Subject to all information being provided by the copy deadline your show will be included in our season launch communication.
Local media Contacts
We have complied a list of key contacts in the local media Publicity Contacts for you to use when promoting your show.
Produced three times a year, 7,500 copies are printed and we post 3,500 to our theatre’s database.
You receive a quarter page entry in the brochure, this can be upgraded to a full page to match the space provided to our weekly hirers. Weekly hirers receive a full page as part of their package.
You will need to provide us with one bold, text free landscape image of high quality. The focal point of the image must be in the centre of the space.
The image should be at least 3898 pixels x 2598 pixels
We will use these images across all our marketing activities. Check the full specification here for details of size, shape and file format.
Posters and Leaflets
REQUIRED: 2x A1 posters for the foyer and outdoor display are required.
OPTIONAL: Leaflets should be A5 or 1/3 A4. (100-200 copies recommended)
We will display your material when received and subject to space being available. We update the poster displays each Monday.

Follow, Mention and Tag
Encourage your performers and supporters to follow us. Mention and tag the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in all your posts so we can share this information.
Share or Retweet our posts to help spread the word, about your production.
Message us on Facebook and Instagram with your pictures, or tag us in them and we will share them. Posts with pictures get read twice as often as those without.
In addition to the services outlined above, weekly hirers also receive the following additional marketing support.
As a weekly hire, your space in the brochure is increased to a full page, top half of the space is an image with the information about the show below.

We will promote your show online through Facebook and Google adverts. We will work with you to coordinate this activity with your own marketing.
