The year 2022 will mark 70 years since the UK pop charts started in 1952, with Al Martino being the first to claim the number one spot. 

Don Pears’ singers and musicians take us through the decades from the songs of Perry Como and Doris Day to those of Adele and Ed Sheeran, with many stopping off points on the way. 

Somewhere between A for ABBA and Z for ZZ Top, whether you are a fan of the fifties & sixties or the nineties and noughties, there will be music that will delight you.
