The Joseph Rowntree Theatre is delighted to be hosting the York Beethoven Project, a unique set of concerts in local venues. This event is a concert of two halves. Conducted by John Atkin, the White Rose Singers will perform groundbreaking music from stage and screen. Featuring songs from West Side Story, Les Misérables, Carousel, James Robert Brown, Sondheim and more as well as a live forty piece orchestra, the York Beethoven Project, performing Beethoven’s Revolutionary Masterpiece, Symphony No. 3 – Eroica.
