Fresh from their triumphant February production of 'Kipps: The New Half a Sixpence Musical', the Joseph Rowntree Theatre Company take to the stage once more to bring to life the story of every musical you’ve ever seen. Join them for an evening of musical theatre songs from plucky protagonists and love-to-hate bad guys, featuring songs from Wicked, Hamilton, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music and many more!
This concert will take you on a journey through the stories of some of your favourite musicals, following some of musical theatre’s best loved heroes and most dastardly villains. Along the way, we will encounter some other key characters who will help, or possibly hinder, our intrepid characters. At the directorial helm is JRTC regular Ben Huntley, who joins forces with Musical Director Jess Douglas.
Joseph Rowntree Theatre Company was established in 2017 with the aim of producing high-quality, low-budget productions to maximise profits - every penny of which goes straight back to the Theatre. This concert features cast members from all four of the company's previous full-scale productions - a huge array of talent performing solos, small group songs and showstopping full company numbers.
