Set in 1980’s New York, the show follows the highs and lows of the students of the city’s prestigious High School for the Performing Arts, sharing their struggles, triumphs and often tempestuous relationships with each other and their teachers. Complex issues such as prejudice, drug abuse and sexual exploitation are tackled as the young performers experience the realities of striving for a career in show business and, ultimately, for FAME. If you love the 1980s, this show is a must-see.
