Exploring the lives of a Northern mining family 150 years apart, Life Below chronicles two generations of the Gooder family who have endured treacherous conditions to stay alive. In 1984, Rosie Gooder fights for her community’s rights under the threat of Margaret Thatcher’s pit closures.
