Heart for the Arts Update

The mission continues!

The Joseph Rowntree Theatre remains committed to supporting community engagement through affordable performing arts, entertainment, and events.

The Heart of the Arts campaign is now well underway, raising funds to provide a much-needed meeting place and waiting area to relax in before performances, as well as the inclusion of an in-house bar and additional toilets in a new ‘Garden Room’.

Since the campaign launched, community events such as bowling, a pie night and a Christmas raffle have all taken place. Alongside donations from our loyal supporters, the amount raised is now at £17,625.10, which leaves us just £12,374.90 away from the total goal of £30,000.
