Shepherd Brass Band are York based. They have 5 ensembles and over 150 players.
The band was first formed in 1903 as The Cocoa Works Band, and has progressed through The Rowntree Band and The Nestlé Rowntree Band to the present day and The Shepherd Brass Band.
The band is always looking for more players, regardless of age and experience, and we would welcome anyone to our rehearsals.
