We Are Theatre are a professional theatre company based in Yorkshire who believe in using theatre as a vehicle to enhance peoples lives.
We undertake one or two large scale productions at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre each year (and other smaller productions in various venues across York) and we hold open auditions for each show. Our shows have children and adults working alongside one another and we are always keen to attract new members - we rarely have the same cast for each production so there is always a great scope to land a principal role. Auditions are advertised via our website but you can register interest in our group and projects at any time.
We also run other specific groups, including performance groups for adults with learning difficulties and currently a community theatre group for residents in New Earswick.
