Our stewards play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the theatre’s front of house.

As a steward, you will meet, greet, and assist theatre patrons, guide them to their seats, and  sell programmes and treats. You will also be crucial in ensuring the safety of our guests during an evacuation in the unlikely event of an emergency.

You will be able to sit in the auditorium during the shows you steward so you will get to see a diverse array of performances including plays, musicals, dance shows, concerts, and our annual pantomime.

We welcome volunteers over the age of 16 and no prior experience is necessary. All you need is a friendly attitude and a love for working with people. Full training will be provided.

The time commitment is flexible, typically involving one or two evenings and/or a Saturday afternoon per month, with shifts generally running from approximately 6:45 pm to 10:15 pm (1:45 pm to 5:15 pm for matinées).
