Can you help us to tell our story?
We are looking for creative and committed volunteers to join our theatre marketing team. Experience in marketing or a related creative communications field (e.g. journalism, PR, content creation) is essential.
We are looking particularly for volunteers who have skills and experience creating, scheduling and managing social media content, copywriting, email marketing, website development, video production, editing and photography. Being comfortable with online tools and platforms, such as Google Drive, Suitdash, Dot Digital, Canva, and similar, would be an advantage. Our team is made up of people with different strengths and skillsets across marketing, so you don't need to have skills in all of those areas. Please be encouraged to apply, we'd be happy to have a chat about how you might contribute to our team.
We meet remotely every Tuesday evening to review the previous week and plan stories and content for the coming weeks ahead, with an in-person meeting held once a quarter. Each team member takes on a different area of responsibility and we work collaboratively. The weekly time commitment is in the region of three hours and during busy periods additional time commitments may be required.
You will be working as part of a small, enthusiastic team and playing a pivotal role in the life of our lovely community theatre. It is a role that requires a degree of self-discipline and commitment, but one that is also hugely rewarding, and fun!
