Interested in directing your own show?

The Joseph Rowntree Theatre Company are on the hunt for pitches for their 2028 Spring show!

The spring show slot is the larger of the company's two annual productions, with rehearsals expected to start in September 2027 and the successful show performed at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in early February 2028.

As a fundraising and community company, the pitches should be for shows that are big hitters - either in terms of bums-on-seats potential, or in terms of the ability to include a large and diverse cast - or ideally, both!

It also has to be something which can be worked on a low budget but still be a great experience for performers and audience alike. To cap it off, 2028 is the company's tenth anniversary year, and therefore would love to see something celebratory - something which will be a lot of fun for people to be in as well as to watch.
