Our friendly and reliable box office volunteers are key to helping potential audience members become ticket holders.  As well as processing ticket sales, the team also handle an interesting variety of telephone and email questions that help ensure our audience members get the best from their theatre experience. They also take charity donations, sell merchandise and help customers who prefer to plan to pre-order refreshments.  They are a super friendly and welcoming bunch and many also donate their time to other duties in our lovely theatre.

Our box office opens 6 days a week 10am to 2pm as well as in the evenings and on weekend afternoons as required to sell on the door ahead of each show.

Tickets are sold via a user friendly computer system. Familiarity with using computers and confidence in taking phone calls and handling money are vital.  Full training will be given and you are always working with other volunteers who will provide support.

We are currently particularly looking to recruit people who can be available 6-8pm one evening a fortnight or between 10am and 2pm in particular on Mondays and Saturdays.  Some volunteers prefer to have a regular day/shift to volunteer and other volunteers fill in ad hoc as and when their diary allows.  There can be some flexibility.
