Earlier this week, NETheatre York, the team behind the upcoming production of Charlie of the Chocolate Factory: The Musical, were invited to visit Haxby Road Primary Academy to talk about all things Wonka.
The children of the academy are currently reading Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as part of their curriculum, and thought it would be amazing to invite NETheatre into the school to talk to the kids about bringing the world of Willy Wonka to life, as well as their theatre experiences.
NETheatre were more than happy to oblige.
The team did a talk for three classses to discuss the story and the show, with a post-session Q&A.
The kids had such a great time that NETheatre have already been invited back to talk about future shows.
Don't miss NETheatre's latest production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opening at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre on Sat 22 Nov.
