We’re delighted to announce the launch of its new autumn / winter season of shows, which will showcase October to December 2022. Theatre goers can choose from an exciting range of musicals, dance performances, pantomime and much more. Tickets go on sale today, 8 August 2022.

I’m thrilled to see such incredible talent performing on our beloved stage. We are proud to showcase such a wonderful array of talented performers and to bring joy to theatre goers. 

“We hope the people of York and the surrounding areas will enjoy our new season of shows, with stories of adventure, drama, dance, and song.” 

This season, the theatre welcomes shows such as Fame by York Light Youth group, a show filled with dance, song and acting. The show had been postponed due to Covid-19 but after two years of waiting, this is a show not to be missed. 

York Stage company is bringing big and bold energy to the stage with their performance adaptation of Bring It On, the early noughties cheerleader film famously starring Kirsten Dunst. This show is guaranteed to get you energised and channel your inner cheerleader. 

One show that will certainly make you ask for more is NE Musical’s production of Oliver. Based on the classic Charles Dickens novel, this is a story of crime, poverty, friendship, and fate and is guaranteed to have audiences captivated in a range of emotions. 

The Christmas pantomime, Rowntree Players’ production of Babes in the Wood, is a must-see of the season with comedy, drama, and adventure, making it a perfect show for all ages.
