You can hire the theatre for a wide variety of performances and events. We have one auditorium which seats 365 people.

HIRE CHARGES SEPTEMBER 2020 TO AUGUST 2021 - Amended
We have reduced the capacity of the Joseph Rowntree Theatre to around 100 seats to ensure social distancing is maintained for our audience.
We have adjusted our hire charges to reflect the reduced capacity.
For this temporary period our hire charge will be calculated as 30% of your box office takings.

HIRE CHARGES SEPTEMBER 2021 TO AUGUST 2022
Evening hire 6pm to 10pm: £345
Hourly charge thereafter: £110 per hour
Weekly hire: Sunday 10am - 10pm, plus Monday to Saturday 6pm - 10pm - discounted charge of £2,700.
Weekly hire with Saturday matinee: Sunday 10am - 10pm, Plus Monday to Friday 6pm to 10pm, Saturday 1pm to 10pm - discounted charge of £3,045
Saturday or Sunday 10am to 10pm: £1,035
Box office charge: 6% of box office takings.
